ORO No.01 is a carefully balanced 100% Arabica blend — four origins, one purpose. Sourced from Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, and Ethiopia, each bean is selected for its individual contribution to the cup: body, brightness, sweetness, and depth. Together, they form a blend of exceptional quality, built for consistency and designed to perform at the highest level, every single time.
Freshly roasted to reveal natural sweetness, rich chocolate notes, full flavour, rounded body, and a smooth, golden finish — performing flawlessly across espresso and milk-based drinks while preserving depth, balance, and complexity.

The Flavour Profile
Medium-roasted to preserve the character of each origin, ORO No.01 opens with the dark, bittersweet depth of Brazilian Cerrado, moves through the silky caramel warmth of Colombian Huila, brightens with the clean stone-fruit clarity of Guatemalan Antigua, and closes on the jasmine-edged, lingering complexity of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe.

ORO No.01. Perfected in 60 seconds. Now expanding to cities around the world.
ORO No.01 began not in a roastery, but on the road. We travelled across four continents, visited farms at altitude, sat with growers, and tasted more than 120 single-origin coffees before we found the four that belonged together. Every shortlisted bean was evaluated across multiple harvests — because consistency at the farm level is the only foundation a great blend can be built on.
The farmers who grow our four origins — in Brazil's Cerrado, Colombia's Huila, Guatemala's Antigua, and Ethiopia's Yirgacheffe — are direct partners, not suppliers. We buy directly from every farm, cutting out the middleman entirely — so a greater share of what you pay for ORO No.01 reaches the people who grew it. We commit to multi-season agreements and share the quality data from every roast back with the farms. When the harvest is exceptional, so is the reward. That is the only way ORO No.01 stays what it is.

Product Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
ORO No.01 is a 100% Arabica blend sourced from four single-origin estates: Brazil (body & chocolate), Colombia (sweetness & balance), Guatemala (brightness & fruit), and Ethiopia (floral depth & complexity). No Robusta. No filler. Every bean is selected for its individual contribution to the cup.
Yes — ORO No.01 is engineered specifically for precision espresso extraction. It performs consistently across commercial and home espresso machines, including portafilter machines, bean-to-cup, and pod-compatible systems. The blend is calibrated for a 25–30 second pull at 9 bar.
Absolutely. While ORO No.01 is optimised for espresso, its balanced profile translates beautifully to filter methods. For pour-over and French press, we recommend a slightly coarser grind and water temperature of 92–94°C to preserve the floral and fruit notes.
All ORO No.01 is roasted to order. You receive your beans within 3–10 days from the roast date, ensuring they arrive at peak freshness. Each bag is sealed with a one-way degassing valve to lock in flavour from the moment they leave the roastery.
Most coffee bags need a clothes peg to stay closed. ORO No.01 comes in a premium stand-up doypack with a resealable zip and a built-in one-way degassing valve. The zip locks out air, moisture, and light every time. The valve lets CO₂ escape from freshly roasted beans without letting oxygen in. Stays fresh. Stands upright. No peg required.
The Espretto subscription delivers your chosen quantity of ORO No.01 every 30 days at a 15% discount versus one-time purchase. You can pause, skip, or cancel anytime from your account — no lock-in, no fees. Subscriptions are billed on the same date each month.
ORO No.01 sits at a medium roast (6/10 on our internal scale). This preserves the origin character of each bean — the brightness of Guatemala and the florals of Ethiopia — while developing the body and sweetness needed for a clean, crema-rich espresso.
Yes. We ship to the UK, EU, and USA. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination and weight. Subscription orders qualify for free shipping on orders over £30 / $38 / €33. All orders are tracked and dispatched within 1–2 business days.
