We have spent years thinking about that moment — about how to make it more consistent, more personal, and more honest than anything the high-street chains have ever offered. The Espretto Robot Barista is our answer.

This is not a vending machine. It is a precision instrument — a compact kiosk with a 2.5 square metre footprint, engineered to extract ORO No.01 with the same parameters, every single time. No rushed barista, no inconsistent tamping pressure, no variation between the morning rush and the afternoon lull. Just the coffee, made right.

The Espretto Robot Barista kiosk occupies just 2.5 square metres — the footprint of a single café table. Inside, a precision robotic arm handles every step of the espresso process — dosing, tamping, extraction, and milk texturing — with tolerances measured in fractions of a gram and milliseconds of time. The result is a cup that is not merely good. It is exactly right.

What makes this possible is not just the hardware. It is the beans. Every kiosk is supplied directly from our local roastery, with deliveries timed to ensure the coffee arrives at peak freshness — typically within 48 to 72 hours of roasting. The ORO No.01 blend, our four-origin 100% Arabica, is the only coffee the machine will ever make. That constraint is a deliberate choice. Mastery requires focus.

The economics of the robot barista are straightforward: no rent on a full café floor, no staffing costs, no waste from unsold pastries. Those savings translate directly into price. An Espretto flat white will always cost at least 30% less than the equivalent at Costa or Starbucks — not as a promotional offer, but as a permanent structural commitment. Each unit connects to the cloud in real time, allowing our team to monitor extraction quality, bean freshness, and machine health remotely. If a parameter drifts, we know before the customer does.

The Espretto app — available on iOS and Android — is the bridge between you and the kiosk. Open it, choose your drink, customise your milk, and your order is sent directly to the nearest machine. By the time you arrive, your coffee is ready. No queue. No wait. No friction.

The app also holds your order history, your preferred drink settings, and your subscription details if you are an ORO No.01 subscriber. Loyalty is built in — every tenth drink is on us, tracked automatically without punch cards or plastic loyalty schemes.

Any Photo. On Your Coffee.

This is the feature that surprises people. Within the Espretto app, there is a single button: Print a Photo. Tap it, choose any image from your camera roll — a portrait, a landscape, a drawing, a meme, a face — and our AI system analyses the image, optimises it for the foam surface, and sends the print instruction to the kiosk's integrated inkjet module.

The ink is entirely food-safe, derived from natural colourants. The resolution is remarkable — fine enough to reproduce a face, a logo, or a piece of text with clarity. And the time penalty is minimal: the photo print adds just twenty seconds to a standard order. It is, in every sense, a moment made tangible.

The applications are wider than they first appear. A birthday coffee with someone's face on it. A corporate event where every cup carries the company logo. A wedding where the couple's portrait appears on every flat white served at the reception. A parent sending their child a coffee with a drawing the child made. The technology is the same in every case; what changes is the meaning.
