Technical Service Operator

London, UK·Full-Time·£15.50 / hour

Be the backbone of the Espretto network. As a Technical Service Operator you will keep every ORO No.01 kiosk across London running at peak performance — restocking consumables, performing scheduled maintenance, and ensuring every cup meets our exacting standard.

Key Duties

  • Daily route visits to Espretto kiosk locations across London
  • Restocking coffee beans, milk, cups, lids, and consumables
  • Performing routine preventative maintenance and cleaning protocols
  • Diagnosing and resolving minor technical faults on-site
  • Logging service visits and inventory levels via the Espretto dashboard
  • Escalating complex technical issues to the engineering team
  • Representing the Espretto brand with professionalism at all times

What We're Looking For

  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
  • Physically fit — role involves lifting and carrying stock
  • Comfortable with basic technical tasks and learning new systems
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • Excellent time management across a multi-site route
  • Previous experience in field service, hospitality, or logistics is a plus

Drive the commercial expansion of Espretto across the UK and beyond. You will identify and secure high-footfall venue partnerships — airports, hotels, corporate campuses, retail centres — and build the pipeline that underpins our 55-location London launch and global franchise rollout.

Key Duties

  • Identify, target, and close venue partnership deals across London and the UK
  • Build and manage a pipeline of corporate, hospitality, and retail opportunities
  • Lead end-to-end negotiations with venue operators, landlords, and procurement teams
  • Develop and present tailored commercial proposals and ROI models
  • Collaborate with the franchise team to convert venue leads into franchise applications
  • Represent Espretto at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums
  • Report pipeline metrics and forecasts to the leadership team

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years in B2B sales, business development, or partnerships
  • Proven track record of closing deals with hospitality, retail, or corporate clients
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to build ROI-led proposals
  • Excellent communicator — written, verbal, and in-person
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, early-stage environment
  • Experience in food & beverage, vending, or tech-enabled retail is a strong plus

Chief Technology Officer

Remote — UK or US preferred·Full-Time·Base + Bonus + Equity

Lead the technology vision of Espretto as we scale from 55 London locations to 2,000+ globally. You will own the full technology stack — kiosk firmware, IoT telemetry, the consumer-facing ordering platform, the franchisee dashboard, and the data infrastructure that powers every cup.

Key Duties

  • Define and execute the technology roadmap aligned with business growth targets
  • Own the architecture of the ORO kiosk software, IoT platform, and cloud infrastructure
  • Lead and scale a distributed engineering team across hardware, backend, and product
  • Drive integration between kiosk hardware, payment systems, and the Espretto dashboard
  • Establish engineering culture, hiring standards, and development processes
  • Ensure platform reliability, security, and compliance at scale
  • Partner with the CEO and COO on product strategy and investor presentations

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in a senior technical leadership role
  • Deep experience with IoT systems, embedded software, or hardware-software integration
  • Strong cloud architecture background (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Track record of scaling platforms from early-stage to multi-market deployment
  • Experience building and leading distributed engineering teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration
  • Previous experience in food tech, retail tech, or autonomous systems is a strong plus
