For the first time in its history, World of Coffee — the Specialty Coffee Association's flagship European event — is coming to Belgium. From 25 to 27 June 2026, Brussels Expo will host thousands of coffee professionals, roasters, equipment manufacturers, and industry innovators from across the globe. And Espretto will be there, on the show floor, with the full AI Robot Barista kiosk running live.
What Is World of Coffee?
World of Coffee is the most significant specialty coffee trade event in Europe. Produced by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), it brings together the entire coffee supply chain — from green coffee importers and equipment manufacturers to roasters, café operators, and technology companies — under one roof for three days of exhibitions, competitions, tastings, and industry dialogue.
Previous editions have been held in Amsterdam, Vienna, Milan, Athens, and Geneva. The 2026 edition marks the first time the event has come to Brussels — a city the SCA describes as home to "one of Europe's most exciting specialty coffee scenes." Brussels Expo, located at Pl. de Belgique 1, 1020 Brussels, is one of Belgium's largest exhibition venues, with over 100,000 square metres of floor space across multiple halls.
"Brussels, get ready — World of Coffee is coming. This dynamic city, known for its creativity and culture, is also home to one of Europe's most exciting specialty coffee scenes."
— Specialty Coffee Association
What Espretto Is Bringing
We're bringing the full kiosk. Not a prototype. Not a render. The production-ready Espretto AI Robot Barista — the same six-axis robotic arm, the same precision brewing system, the same AI latte art printer — running live on the show floor for all three days.
Visitors will be able to walk up, place an order, and watch the machine work in real time: grinding, dosing, tamping, extracting, steaming, and printing a custom latte art design — all in 50 seconds. Every cup will be made with ORO No.01, our signature four-origin 100% Arabica blend sourced directly from farms in Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, and Ethiopia.
If you've read about the kiosk, or seen it in photographs, World of Coffee Brussels is your chance to taste what it actually produces.
Who Should Come and Find Us
World of Coffee is a trade event, and our focus at the show reflects that. We're there to talk to the people who build and operate the spaces where coffee is served — not just to pour drinks.
If you're a café owner or group operator thinking about how to reduce labour dependency without compromising on quality, we want to show you the economics. If you're a franchise investor or territory developer looking at the next wave of food and beverage concepts, we want to walk you through the model. If you're a facilities or procurement manager at an airport, hotel, hospital, or corporate campus, we want to talk about deployment. And if you're simply a coffee professional who is curious about where the industry is heading, come and pull a shot with us.

Why Brussels, Why Now
The timing is not coincidental. The specialty coffee industry is in the middle of a structural shift — one that the World of Coffee programme has been tracking closely. Labour costs are rising across every major market. Skilled barista shortages are deepening. Consumer expectations around speed, consistency, and quality are converging in ways that the traditional café model was not designed to meet simultaneously.
Brussels is also, quietly, one of the most interesting cities in Europe for coffee right now. A dense, multilingual, internationally mobile population — EU institutions, embassies, multinationals — has created a consumer base with unusually high expectations and genuine willingness to pay for quality. The city's café culture is sophisticated without being precious. It is exactly the kind of market where the Espretto model makes immediate sense.
Come and Find Us
We'll share our stand number as soon as it's confirmed. If you're planning to attend and want to arrange a meeting or a private demo at the show, get in touch via the enquiry form on our website. We'll be scheduling time slots in advance for operators and investors who want a proper conversation rather than a walk-up.
